Reality TV personality Anita Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has revealed her desire to step into the political arena.

During a recent chat with media personality Ebuka, the Big Brother Naija alumna, who hails from Port Harcourt, voiced her concerns about the underdevelopment in Rivers State. She criticized the state’s failure to harness its vast resources and young talent.

Tacha emphasized the need for young people to engage more in politics, stressing that many opportunities and creative minds in Rivers State are being ignored.

“Seeing the progress in states like Lagos and Abuja makes it frustrating when I think about how much Rivers State could achieve. There’s so much untapped talent and potential that the government is overlooking,” she said.

According to her, effecting real change requires direct involvement in governance, not just commentary from the sidelines.

When asked about her own political aspirations, Tacha hinted that plans are already in motion, though she remained tight-lipped about the details.

“It’s something I’m currently working on. Once I’m about 70% ready, I’ll reveal more. It doesn’t make sense to keep criticizing without getting involved,” she stated.

Beyond politics, Tacha also shared her ambition to set a new Guinness World Record by completing makeup for 150 people within 24 hours.
