- A Lagos court has dismissed Iyabo Ojo’s lawsuit against colleague Lizzy Anjorin, leading to division among social media users.
- Last year, Iyabo Ojo filed a N1 billion defamation lawsuit against Lizzy for her social media allegations.

A Lagos court has allegedly dismissed the N1 billion defamation lawsuit filed by Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo against her colleague, Lizzy Anjorin, sparking mixed reactions across social media.
The legal battle stemmed from social media allegations made by Lizzy, which prompted Iyabo to seek redress in court last year, demanding N1 billion in damages for defamation of character.
However, on Wednesday, the court ruled to dismiss the case a verdict that has left fans and observers divided. While some believe justice was not served, others argue that the case lacked sufficient merit from the onset.
Reactions continue to pour in online, with some supporting Iyabo’s stance against defamation, while others criticize the public feud between the two actresses, urging both parties to move on.

In other news, Controversial Nigerian artist Portable appears to be making peace with music superstar Davido, just hours after the latter seemingly mocked his well-known establishment, Odogwu Bar.
Earlier, popular blog Gistlover had reported that Davido clapped back at a Twitter troll who ridiculed his family over their excitement about his private jet. In the course of the exchange, Davido subtly mocked Portable by referencing his lounge in Ogun State. He tweeted, “All these Odogwu Bar settings,” followed by laughing emojis a comment widely interpreted as a jab.
However, rather than respond with insults or shade, Portable took a surprisingly calm approach. Taking to his Instagram page, the singer posted a throwback photo from their previous meet-up in the United States, where Davido had treated him to a luxurious dinner.
Captioning the photo, Portable wrote:
“Zazuu Zeh, ogo ni mi ni nu UK”, which loosely translates to “Zazuu Zeh, I am a star even in the UK.”
The unexpected show of respect has sparked mixed reactions online, with many applauding Portable for not escalating the tension and instead showing maturity.
