Secretary to the Govt of the Federation, Boss Mustapha: announces suspension of FEC and NEC because of coronavirus
Coronavirus literally shut down the Nigerian Government on Monday with the suspension of the weekly federal executive council meeting.
The suspension will be “until further notice”.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha said the council of state meeting earlier scheduled for Thursday has also been postponed.
He made this known as he also announced the total closure of all the country’s land border—- all measures meant to tackle the growing incident of Coronavirus pandemic.
The borders will be closed for four weeks, said Mustapha, who is also Chairman of Nigeria’s Special Task Force on coronavirus.
