Popular gospel artist Bunmi Akinnaanu, widely known as Omije Ojumi, has sparked concern among fans after a video of her in distress surfaced online.

In the circulating clip, the singer best known for her hit track “Omije Ojumi” was seen sitting on a chair, visibly emotional and in tears. The video was reportedly taken during an open-air crusade, where she had attended in search of divine healing for her health condition.

During the session, the presiding cleric approached Bunmi and tried to engage her in conversation, but she was unable to speak and only continued to weep. After some time, she managed to identify herself, revealing a plaster on her right hand, indicating she had recently undergone medical treatment.

At one point, Bunmi showed one of her legs, which appeared to be affected. She held it in pain while still crying, prompting the clergy to place his foot on hers as he prayed for her healing. He comforted her with words of faith, assuring her that her trials would soon end, and encouraged her to praise God, promising that her testimony would come soon.

This incident comes months after street-hop singer Portable (Habeeb Olalomi Badmus) publicly shared his own health struggles, undergoing several medical tests to determine his ailment.

The gospel music community is still recovering from the loss of Aduke Gold, who passed away last year after quietly battling cancer a tragedy that left many in shock and sorrow.
