Aisha Yesufu has criticised security agencies during the ongoing electoral reform protest in Abuja, accusing them of protecting political interests instead of the people.

Speaking at the protest, the activist lamented the rising insecurity across the country, stating that children are being killed nationwide while security operatives focus on guarding individuals who, according to her, do not stand up for the citizens.

Yesufu reminded the operatives that public service is temporary and urged them to consider life after retirement, stressing that they would still depend on the same people they are meant to protect.

“Children are being k!ll£d nationwide, yet security operatives protect people who won’t stand for you. After retirement, you’ll still need the people,” she said.

Her remarks drew attention from protesters and have since sparked discussions online about accountability, insecurity, and the role of security agencies in Nigeria’s democracy.

In other news….Controversial Nigerian sinqueenger Portable has turned his attention to his girlfriend, Queen Dami, calling her out during a recent live video. The singer accused Queen Dami, the former wife of the Alaafin of Oyo, of publicly denying their relationship.

Portable claimed that Queen Dami, during a live session with Salo, said he “doesn’t exist,” a statement he described as false. According to the singer, they have been back together for some time and he has been spending most nights with her. He questioned why she would deny him publicly and asked if she did not want people to know they had reconciled.

The singer further stated that Queen Dami was expected to inform people in Ibadan that they were back together so that he could be forgiven. He also claimed that he has been financially responsible for her.

Portable, who is a father of seven, went on to make a controversial remark, saying that any woman who leaves him would not find another husband.

“A few days ago, Salo asked Queen Dami about me on her live video, and she said I didn’t exist. This was a lady I had s*x with throughout the night before she went live.

“I was even beside her on the bed. I wanted to ask her why she was denying me. Does she not want people to know we are back together?

Why would she say I didn’t exist? She is supposed to go online and tell the people of Ibadan to forgive me because we are back together. This is someone I am feeding. Any woman that leaves me can never find a husband again. All my property belongs to Bewaji because she stood by me when I had nothing”.
