Cardi B reacts as TMZ asks Ayra Starr shady question about her Met Gala outfit

Cardi B, the American singer, responded to a question from TMZ regarding Ayra Starr, a Nigerian singer, and her outfit at the Met Gala.

On social media, a video circulated showing Ayra Starr, who is signed to Mavin Records, being approached by a reporter on the street. The reporter asked her about Cardi B’s attire at the Met Gala.

In the video, the TMZ crew mentioned that it took months to create Cardi B’s star-studded costume for the event. However, when asked, Cardi B couldn’t recall the designers.

The reporter then asked Ayra Starr if she thought it was disrespectful to the rapper’s designer.

The reporter said:

“The dress that she wore to the Met Gala took months to make and she didn’t remember the name of the designers who made the dress. She said she was supposed to stand and pose on the podium and there was a lot going on but you’ve been on a lot of red carpets, is it disrespectful to not know the designer’s name?”

When asked what she thought of Cardi B forgetting the names of her designers at the Met Gala, Ayra Starr responded by saying that she thought the rapper was just nervous.

She said; “It’s nerves sometimes, I don’t know, to be honest, I don’t know.”

The reporter further asked; “You’ve been on tons of red carpets, it’s kind of why you’re there. So if I came to you and said I forgot the name of your new album, you’d be like ‘What the hell, do you research girl’. Is there a way that you remember things that you need to know that maybe you can give advice to Cardi B on?”

Ayra Starr replied once again;

“I don’t know. I love Cardi B always, every time.”
