Businesswoman Tracy Nicolas Ohiri, who previously accused Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, of owing her a long-standing N304m debt, has reportedly collapsed and been rushed to a hospital in Abuja.
The development was brought to public attention by activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, who raised alarm through a post on his Instagram page. Sowore alleged that TracyNither, as she is also known, had earlier been arrested on the orders of the Works Minister following her public claims.
According to the post, the businesswoman’s health condition deteriorated, leading to her being hospitalized in the Federal Capital Territory. Supporters have expressed concern over her wellbeing, calling for transparency regarding her situation and demanding that her rights be protected.
The incident has sparked renewed debate on social media, with many Nigerians closely monitoring developments surrounding the allegations and her reported arrest.

The conflict erupted when King Mitchy displayed schools she claimed to have renovated in just six days, publicly acknowledging Seyi Tinubu for backing the initiative. She also accused VeryDarkMan of holding NGO donation funds in his account for nearly two years without executing any visible projects.
In response, VeryDarkMan accused King Mitchy of being used as a political instrument ahead of the 2027 elections. Since then, the exchange between the two has drawn widespread attention on social media.

His claims have raised alarm among his supporters, especially after days of scrutiny surrounding the school renovation initiative. VeryDarkMan previously questioned why the renovations took place in 2026 rather than earlier, suggesting the timing may be politically motivated.
He also argued that public school renovations should be managed by the government directly, instead of allegedly funding influencers to carry out what he termed “symbolic” projects.
