Singer and songwriter, Daniel Benson aka Buju have been spotted in the studio with Grammy award-winning superstar Wizkid days after social media dragged the former for his old tweets about the latter.
On Friday, July 30, Buju trended on social media after old comments from his account where he was trolling other artists such as Wizkid and Davido resurfaced.
His comments showed Buju, who wasn’t making music then, throwing shades at artists like Davido, Wizkid, Mr. Eazi, Timaya, Yemi Alade as far back as 2015.
The comments were shared again on the internet on Friday and sparked quite an outrage among fans of the various artistes who were trolled.
In part of the comments, the afro-fusion artist tagged Mr. Eazi as overrated and referred to Wizkid’s ‘Daddy Yo’ as “trash”.
However, a few days after the social media outrage, the ‘Outside’ singer was seen with Wizkid, Wande Coal and Ghanaian singer, King Promise in the studio.
It is clear that the artistes would not be put down by the negativity of social media users as they are currently in the studio mixing up something steaming for their fans.
