Halima is the daughter of Nana Hadiza, who became the wife of former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), a few years ago. Hadiza, one of Buhari’s daughters from an earlier marriage, is Malami’s third wife. She was previously married to Captain Junaid Abdullahi, with whom she shares six children.
The wedding fatiha is slated for August 30, 2025, and will be preceded by a series of festivities, including a bridal soiree, Kamu ceremony, and an elaborate dinner.
However, it was observed that several members of the former first family were not in attendance at the celebrations.
