Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has slammed Nigerians criticizing popular artiste, Davido over the acquisition of his Lamborghini.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Reno Omokri said he is surprised at the criticisms fired at Davido due to the Lamborghini he acquired with his own money.
the accomplished author said if there were any hard knocks, it would be reserved for General Muhammadu Buhari, who bought a two hundred and eighty million Naira Mercedes-Maybach with money belonging to the masses yet refused to perform.
According to Reno Omokri, after donating ₦250 million to orphanages all around Nigeria, Davido deserved to splurge on a Lamborghini and earn the right to complain about the high cost of clearance, especially when he has done more charity than the government collecting the money.
The post reads: “Rather surprised at the hard knocks singer Davido got from Nigerians over the Lamborghini he bought with HIS OWN MONEY. I would have thought that if there were any hard knocks, it would be reserved for General Buhari, who bought a ₦280 million Mercedes-Maybach with YOUR MONEY, yet refused to perform.
Besides, after donating ₦250 million to orphanages all around Nigeria, Davido deserves to not only splurge on a Lamborghini, but he has earned the right to complain about the high cost of clearing it, especially when he has singularly done more for charity than the government collecting the clearance.
Shame on those Nigerians for leaving a government that hides ordinary #COVID19 palliative noodles from the masses, only to badmouth an under 30-year-old Davido, who has shown more love to needy Nigerians than the government. Perhaps Nigeria deserves Buhari!
