The attack was said to have occurred at Sabon Angwa around Mararaban Kantoma of Barkinladi local government council of Plateau state on Sunday, July 1.
This Day reports that the attack left six people dead, while 15 houses and a church – Baptist Church – in the community was razed.
The secretary of Beron Educational and Cultural Organization said the attack took place on Sunday, July 1, at about 2 am. It was also gathered that a hospital belonging to the government was torched during the attack.
