On Monday, the Christian Association of Nigeria spearheaded demonstrations against the ongoing murders occurring in Plateau State and other regions of the nation.
Leading the “Plateau Peace Walk” protest is the state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Polycarp Lubo; the president of the ECWA, Rev. Dr. Stephen Baba Panya; the president of COCIN, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo; the bishop of the Methodist church in Jos; Rev. Nkechi Nwosu; the president of the Gideon and Funmi-ParaMallam Peace Foundation, Rev. Dr. Gideon ParaMallam, and other notable Christian leaders in the state.
Starting at the PRTVC Roundabout in Jos, the demonstrators marched toward the Rayfield Government House to express their displeasure with the state of security as it stands.
