📝✍️ Letter to my mom!

Losing a mother leaves a space that never closes, an injury that never heals.

7 good years without you, Mummy! It still feels so fresh. I can feel the very first cry when I was told that my mother was dead, the way I landed on the floor. Oh no, everything still feels fresh.

Almost all that you wanted is manifesting, but you are no more. I really wish you were still here to see your prayers coming to pass and your efforts coming to fruition. Mummy, you worked but did not wait to eat. 😭 Even the children you helped me raise when the road was so rough, you didn’t wait too…

You really slaved! You took the burden of motherhood away from me when my kids were so young, and life became so hard for a very young single mom like me. You told me to go face my life… go back to school and make a life… you wanted nothing drawing me back, and now you’re gone when you ought to be enjoying.

Oma se o! Ẹni ẹlẹ̀ni ò ní j́ iṣ́ ọwọ́ wa o! 😢 AMIN 🙏

Mummy, did you come to slave for us ni? Or why did you leave at the verge of breakthrough? I have a lot of questions to ask you! 😭

Oh, I remember the tears on my first child’s face when he was leaving for Canada. You were both crying. I asked him why the tears. His response till this day breaks my heart. He said, “I don’t know if I will still see grandma by the time I return from Canada.” Mummy, you passed the second year he left. You even deceived me to travel to meet him before you passed. Why did you do that? You did not let me see you die, God! 😭

It hurts o! Mummy, it really hurts and it still makes me cry.

But one thing consoles me. I know you are with the Lord. Your death makes me get closer to God and see life more clearly. But you did not have to die for me to see life! Hmmmmm.

A mother’s love never truly leaves. Your prayers, your strength, and everything you were still guide my steps every day.

I miss you deeply, but I thank God for the gift of having you as my mother. Your legacy lives on through us.

Keep resting in perfect peace. You will always be loved and never forgotten. 🕊️

🙏 Please help me pray for my mom”.
