Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has been announced the winner of the Best International Act category at the 2020 edition of BET Awards.
This award makes it the second he is winning.
Naomi Campbell presented the award to Burna Boy via an event held virtually on Sunday, June 28, 2020.
The Grammy-nominated artist was nominated alongside Innoss’B (DRC), Sho Madjozi (S. Africa), Dave (U.K.), Stormzy (U.K.), Ninho (France) and S.Pri Noir (France).
Burna in his acceptance speech thanked BET for the award and also talked about black history.
