Former Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Nelly Mbonu, has opened up about her broken friendship with fellow housemate and husband, Kellyrae, blaming their co-star Kassia for the fallout.
During the latest episode of the reunion show, Nelly revealed that her once-close friendship with Kellyrae ended after Kassia allegedly came between them. Fans will recall that Nelly and Kellyrae shared a strong bond on the show, even before it was publicly revealed that they were married.
When asked by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu about what caused the rift, Nelly pointed fingers at Kassia. “Obviously, it’s the wife,” she said, implying that Kassia had influenced Kellyrae’s change in attitude.
Kassia quickly interrupted, denying the accusation: “Hmm? You stopped talking to him. What do you mean by, ‘obviously, it’s the wife’?”
Visibly upset, Nelly responded, “Can you shut up and let me speak? … Anyways, like I was saying, the wife obviously had issues with me in the house because I told Onyeka something you said. You told me Onyeka said it, but I later found out it was just your instinct.”
Kassia attempted to defend herself, saying, “I said two things. Onyeka said the first one, the second one was my instincts. Maybe you didn’t understand.”
The heated exchange added yet another layer of tension to the ongoing BBNaija reunion drama, as unresolved issues among former housemates continue to unfold on screen.
