The emotional atmosphere in Big Brother Naija season 10 intensified as housemate Mensan became the latest contestant to shed tears on the show.
During his diary session with Biggie on Thursday, July 31, Mensan grew emotional while speaking about the weight of his family’s expectations. He revealed that his loved ones were counting on him to succeed and provide for them.
“I am not just here for myself. I want to reach a point where I can carry my family the way they want me to,” he said, bursting into tears.
Biggie, in his usual comforting tone, encouraged him with the words: “Wipe your tears because diamonds are unbreakable.”
Mensan also admitted that he sometimes felt awkward speaking English with the male housemates, saying it was “not serious, just vibes,” even as he continued to cry.
This emotional moment follows another recent incident where fellow housemate Kaybobo also broke down after Mensan accused him of being a bully and allegedly insulting his mother.
