Big Brother Naija 10/10 housemate, Imisi, has opened up about how her seemingly “perfect” relationship turned toxic after she became pregnant.
Speaking in a conversation with Kaybobo, Imisi revealed that her former partner, Hakeem, began acting differently during her pregnancy, which eventually led to the end of their relationship.
According to her, the relationship was the best she had ever experienced until things changed after she conceived. “This last relationship was my best ever relationship, not until when I was pregnant. The whole thing just went sour. He never cheated, I never saw him cheating,” she said.
When Kaybobo asked if he started cheating, Imisi admitted, “Yeah. Stuff started happening. He would come home late; we lived together for a year. It was really crazy. Hakeem loved me, and it was glaring, and I knew. He wanted the baby, and I wanted the baby too.”
She recalled that Hakeem begged for forgiveness after his infidelity, promising to change, but she couldn’t bring herself to forgive him. “I just couldn’t, because if he could take this step when I was pregnant…” she said.
Tragically, Imisi revealed that she later suffered a miscarriage at three months.
