The Bayelsa State Police Command has confirmed the discovery of the lifeless body of missing real estate mogul, Ekpeboh Richard, days after he was declared missing.
Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) found his decomposing body on Saturday, August 2, in a swampy forest between the NDDC IDP Camp Road and Otuokpoti, Ogbia LGA. He had been shot in the head at close range.
Richard, Vice Chairman of the Real Estate Consultants Association of Bayelsa State, was last seen on July 24. His wife later received suspicious WhatsApp messages from his phone, allegedly sent by his abductors to mislead the family.
