A laboratory staff member has recounted a disturbing incident involving a woman who allegedly attempted to persuade medical personnel to falsify her pregnancy results in order to conceal infidelity.
According to the lab worker, the woman initially visited the facility for a pregnancy test, which returned positive. A subsequent scan reportedly confirmed that she was already several weeks pregnant.
She was quoted as saying:
“Imagine a woman coming to do a pregnancy test, and it came out positive. After the scan showed she was weeks gone, she said she wanted the result to be backdated.”
The situation allegedly escalated when the woman insisted that the gestational age be reduced from about eight weeks to around four or five weeks.
When questioned further, she reportedly admitted that the pregnancy was not her husband’s and pleaded with the sonographer to adjust the timeline so it would align with her partner’s expectations.
“She said the pregnancy is not for her husband and begged the sonographer to help her backdate it so it would match her man. She even threatened to take her life if we refused,” the lab worker added.
However, the sonographer declined the request, explaining that medical records are securely stored and cannot be altered under any circumstances.
The woman reportedly left the facility in anger after her request was rejected.
In a surprising turn of events, the lab worker also claimed that the woman returned the following day, stating that another laboratory had agreed to modify her results.
The account has since sparked widespread discussion online, with many people raising concerns about medical ethics and the potential consequences of falsifying health records.
