Former Ekiti State governor and PDP chieftain, Ayo Fayose, caused a stir after showing up at an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in the state capital while wearing a PDP cap.
The rally, organized to declare support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and President Bola Tinubu, took an unexpected turn when Fayose made a surprise appearance. He was even invited to the podium to address the cheering crowd.
Despite his presence at the APC event, Fayose has maintained that he remains a staunch PDP member and has no plans to defect to the ruling party.
