Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, has pledged to continue going to jail for his sister, just hours after securing his release on a ₦5 million bail.
Gistreel reports that Sammy West was arrested last week over multiple alleged offenses. The incident comes amid the ongoing publicized rift between the celebrity couple, during which private family matters have increasingly become public.
Ned Nwoko reportedly had Sammy West detained over accusations including cyberbullying and cyberstalking. Following widespread calls for his release from his mother, Rita Daniels, as well as other notable figures and social media users, Sammy West was released after meeting the ₦5 million bail requirement.
In a recent conversation with Regina Daniels, Sammy West expressed his willingness to face imprisonment repeatedly if it means protecting his sister from domestic abuse. “For my family, I will go to prison five times, as long as they don’t hurt you again. Let them do what they want,” he said.
Regina Daniels shared her gratitude for her brother’s support, posting a video and writing: “I love you so much, my brother. Nobody will hurt me again, and it’s my brother who said it.”
