Emerging report from Channel Television, revealed that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Muhammadu Buhari, alongside the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, were stoned at the ongoing Presidential Campaign Rally, at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, in Ogun State, Abeokuta, today.
Violence broke out during the rally when Oshiomhole was called to the podium to speak to the crowd. Stones started flying onto the podium with some hitting President Muhammadu Buhari who was quickly shielded by his security personnel.
More stones were thrown at Oshiomhole when President Buhari raised the hands of Prince Dapo Abiodun as the APC governorship candidate for the state.
The hoodlums also attacked supporters of the APC governorship candidate Prince Dapo Abiodun wearing yellow caps.
