Uwaezuoke has sparked controversy after making strong political statements directed at the Igbo community.

Uwaezuoke referenced historical grievances dating back to the Nigerian Civil War and pointed out that no Igbo person has been elected President of Nigeria.

He urged unity among Igbo people and advocated for renewed conversations around self-determination.

In video he was heard saying: “This Message Is For Ndi Igbo. How Many Times Will Things Continue To Happen To Us Before We Learn? Any Igbo Supporting APC And The Re-Election Of Tinubu, It Will Not Be W£ll With That Person, And That Person Does Not Have True Igbo Blood. Nigeria Has Refused To Improve; Instead, The Country Continues To Decline Day By Day. The Igbo Have Been Treated Unfairly Since The Civil War, And To Date, Not a Single Igbo Person Has Become President Of Nigeria. At This Point, It Is Time We Begin To Fight For Our Own Country, Biafra”
