Veteran Nollywood actress Grace Oyin Adejobi, fondly called Iya Osogbo, has once again captured hearts with her emotional reaction after receiving a ₦2 million birthday gift from an anonymous well-wisher.
On Wednesday, September 3, actor Kunle Afod visited the legendary actress at her home and shared a touching video from the visit. Due to her advanced age, Iya Osogbo appeared not to immediately recognise him, but she still gave him a warm welcome, singing hymns and gospel songs.
During the visit, Afod first handed her ₦50,000 on behalf of a colleague abroad. The real surprise came when he later presented her with a bag containing ₦2 million in cash, revealing that the money was sent by an unnamed benefactor.
Overwhelmed by the gesture, the elderly actress hugged Afod tightly and repeatedly asked in Yoruba if the huge sum was truly hers.
