  • The release of Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre has sparked discussions about Kunle Remi’s character Saro and his ongoing womanizing.
  • Netflix released a six-episode series on March 1, directed by Kunle Afolayan, featuring Kunle Remi as Saro, a character known for his love for women.
  • In the Anikulapo series’ first episode, Saro returns from the dead and is sent to kill twenty people using magical powder from the mystic bird.

Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre has been released, and discussions about Kunle Remi’s character Saro and his insatiable womanizing have begun.

The six-episode series, directed by filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, premiered on Netflix on March 1, with Kunle Remi repeating his role as the legendary Saro, whose love for women continues throughout the series.

However, in the first episode of the Anikulapo series, it is revealed that Saro did not just return from the dead, but that his character was sent on a mission to kill the twenty people he brought back to life using the magical powder gained from the mystic bird.

However, the topic of debate on social media appears to be his sex scene and romance with a new character, Olatorera, performed by Oyindamola Sanni.

In one scene, while on a bush path, Saro makes sexual advances on Olatorera, who eventually gives in.

Although the episode is brief, Saro offers Olatorera a cunnilingus, raising debate about his love for women, with many claiming that Saro has not learned his lessons, particularly after the events that led to his death in Anikulapo.
