The media aide to President Buhari, Bashir Ahmad has come under a torrent of attacks on Twitter after he supported the death penalty of Kano singer, Yahaya Sharif-Aminu found guilty of committing blasphemy for a song he circulated on WhatsApp in March 2020.
Bashir Ahmad took to Twitter to express his opinion on the matter as he tweeted that he is in full support of the death penalty.
His tweet read:
I can’t pretend or keep silent. I support the death penalty for BLASPHEMY. That’s my belief and i do not and will never support #SaveKanoNine
