Nigerian singer BNXN, formerly known as Buju, has announced that the next step in his personal and professional journey is to enhance his physical appearance. The music star, who has faced repeated body-shaming online, revealed his intentions in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.
“All that’s left for me to do is to get sexier,” he wrote, hinting at a new phase in his branding evolution. Known for hit songs like Finesse, BNXN has consistently maintained a confident public image despite social media trolls taking aim at his body.
His tweet has since sparked discussions among fans, many of whom have praised his resilience and growth. The announcement also marks a significant shift in his image, suggesting that he’s ready to take his appeal to a new level.
This comes after fellow singer Ruger admitted to regretting the body-shaming comments he made about BNXN during their 2022 online feud. In an interview last year, Ruger said, “I feel bad that I body-shamed BNXN. I regret it.”
The former rivals have since reconciled and released a joint project titled R&B, closing the chapter on their previous conflict.
