Aisha Yesufu Challenges Deji Adeyanju Over Claims Against Peter Obi

  • Activist Aisha Yesufu has asked lawyer Deji Adeyanju to present the evidence he claims to have against Peter Obi, saying it would help her decide whether to continue supporting the Labour Party candidate.
  • She noted that the matter being in court is better than using state power for harassment.

Activist Aisha Yesufu has urged lawyer Deji Adeyanju to present evidence backing his allegations against Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Yesufu, who reaffirmed her support for Obi, said such evidence would determine whether she continues to stand by him.

She welcomed the court case between Obi and Adeyanju, noting it is better for both sides to prove their claims legally than resort to harassment.

She wrote, “Barrister Deji Adeyanju @adeyanjudeji has repeatedly said that he has evidence to show that Mr Peter Obi @PeterObi is a fraud and that Mr Peter Obi should sue him. This is a lawyer speaking!

“As a supporter of Mr Peter Obi, I am interested in the evidence the Barrister has. I would not be one to give support to anyone that is fraudulent so this case will offer me and millions of others the opportunity to have access to the evidence Barrister Deji has so we know whether to continue our support for Mr Peter Obi or withdraw it.

“Mr Peter Obi going to court is the civil thing to do. Where one is defamed especially from a LAWYER, then one should go to court.

“If Mr Peter Obi had used machinery of the State to get Barrister Deji arrested and thrown into jail like many of the dictators we fight are doing then I would be leading a #FreeDejiAdeyanju and calling out Mr Peter Obi!

“As for now, #LetsHaveTheEvidence!”

In other news….. Skitmaker Remote recently shared the motivations behind his 2020 marriage in an interview with Chude Jideonwo. He revealed that growing up without a mother left a significant void in his life, often making him feel isolated.

He explained that his wife, whom he had been in a relationship with since 2016, became a key source of support and comfort, helping to fill the emptiness he had experienced.

He said: “I got married between 2020 and 2021. The reason is simple: I grew up without a mother, so I was often alone. I had been dating my wife since 2016.

“She’s been like a mother figure to me. She’s always there, supportive in ways I never experienced before. I remember once she gave me just N1,000, and it almost brought me to tears. It wasn’t about the money itself, but it made me reflect on my life.

“That day, I didn’t want to pocket it immediately because I really needed it. But at the same time, I realized that she’s the only person who truly understands me and can stand by me. For someone to handle me the way she does… I sometimes feel like even I don’t fully understand myself.”
