The clip, which has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter) via @AsakyGRN, shows the teacher livestreaming from what appeared to be a secondary school classroom.

In the video, a male student was reportedly being disciplined and made to kneel. Rather than addressing the situation directly, the teacher told their TikTok viewers to send 10 roses a paid virtual gift on the platform  before allowing the student to stand.

The teacher can be heard saying:

“That’s your brother kneeling on the ground, and he stays there. But if you send 10 roses, I’ll let him go back to his seat.”

Remarkably, viewers quickly sent the virtual gifts, and the student was allowed to leave the kneeling position.

The clip has sparked strong reactions online, with many questioning the appropriateness of mixing classroom discipline with social media fundraising.
