Award-winning Nollywood actress Chisom Steve has opened up about her miscarriage after receiving a hurtful message questioning her ability to conceive.
In a recent Facebook post, Chisom shared a screenshot of a direct message from a woman who bluntly asked, “Why are you not yet pregnant? Abi are you barren?”
Responding to the insensitive remark, Chisom clarified that she is not barren but had suffered a miscarriage. She expressed how painful the experience has been and didn’t hold back in confronting the woman with strong words for her insensitivity.
“I’m not barren. I actually had miscarriage and I’ve been battling with the pain of loosing a child. But as you found it fun to mock me, in your time of life, you shall be called barren”, She stated.
However, the woman later apologized to Chisom Steve, explaining that she never intended to cause any harm and was simply asking out of curiosity.
