Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has stirred reactions online with his blunt take on a common WhatsApp habit sending voice notes without permission.

In a recent post shared on his Instagram page, Yul made it clear that he isn’t a fan of people who drop voice notes in chats without first asking if it’s okay.

The outspoken actor stated that he would simply delete such messages and carry on with the conversation through text.

“If we’re chatting on WhatsApp, then you send me a voice note without asking me first,
I’ll delete the voice note and continue chatting.
Who told you say I wan hear your voice?”.

His post sparked debate online, with some users agreeing with his stance, while others defended the convenience and personal touch that voice notes can bring to messaging.

This isn’t the first time Yul Edochie has shared an unfiltered opinion on social etiquette and modern digital behavior and it’s unlikely to be the last.
