Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has begun the new week on a celebratory note, having been honoured with a chieftaincy title.
The actor and son of Nollywood veteran Pete Edochie took to Instagram to announce that he has been conferred the title of Isi Ogidi Ntorobia Niine, which translates to Warrior Leader of Igbo Youths Worldwide.
In his post, Yul expressed pride over the recognition, declaring it a historic moment and the beginning of a new era for the Igbo people.
“History has just been made.
A new dawn has come in Igbo land.
Chosen by God, backed up by the spirits in Igbo Land and my ancestors, I have just been crowned with a very massive title,

In other news, Nollywood actress Lola Alao has come out in strong support of her colleague Iyabo Ojo, testifying to her character in the face of ongoing online criticism.
In a video circulating online, Lola described Iyabo as a kind-hearted and generous person who is always willing to help others, often putting their needs before her own.
