Nollywood actor Monsuru Ayanfe has recounted an unforgettable experience he had with star actress Funke Akindele.
In an interview with Jeff Owolewa, Monsuru narrated how he damaged Funke’s new car after a movie shoot. He explained that while trying to park the vehicle, he mistakenly crashed it.
Monsuru revealed that although Funke got angry at the incident, she later apologized, which left him completely surprised.
“I was the one who spoiled Funke Akindele’s new car while I was trying to pack her car after the movie set. Funke is someone who gets angry easily, but when she is calm, she apologises. If she reacts to something someone says, she retraces her steps and apologises,” he said.
The actor also spoke about his relationship with Femi Adebayo, recalling how he was earning just ₦5,000 from him at the beginning of his career. He explained that Femi, who was making ₦20,000 as his salary at the time, would give him ₦5,000 out of it.
“I was collecting ₦5000 when I started my career from Femi Adebayo because of the passion and flair I had for acting,” Monsuru stated.
