“The Day I Become a Professional Pastor, Let God Kill Me” - Pastor Jerry Eze

Pastor Jerry Eze, the founder of Stream of Joy International, has recently faced criticism over comments he made during a church service.

During the sermon, Pastor Eze claimed that some men in Abuja use subtle strategies to borrow money from women, often without repaying it. He even illustrated how these men typically act and what they say when requesting financial help.

The sermon sparked reactions online, with one man sharing the video and criticizing the pastor. He argued that Pastor Eze was making a broad generalization, which he felt was unfair.

In his response, the Abuja resident questioned why the pastor would make such a statement. He suggested that if a woman and a man have just met, she might still choose to assist him financially if he genuinely needed help. The man also asserted that Abuja men would not take the pastor’s remarks lightly and called on him to issue an apology to all men in the city.

This is not the first time Pastor Jerry Eze has attracted controversy. Last year, during a prayer conference in London, he faced accusations of fabricating miracles. More recently, he was criticized for not publicly responding to a church attack in Kwara state carried out by unidentified gunmen.
