- Stan Nze emphasizes the need for Nigeria’s next leader to prioritize citizens’ interests over personal or political gains.
- He believes the ideal candidate should focus on genuine transformation and meaningful development for the country.
- Nze’s choice of leader is based on capability rather than ethnic background, regional ties, or personal relationships.

Nollywood actor Stan Nze has opened up about the qualities he believes Nigeria’s next leader should possess, stressing that his priority is a candidate who can genuinely transform the country and place the interests of citizens above personal or political interests.
In a recent post shared on his Instagram page, the actor explained that his choice of a leader is not influenced by ethnic background, regional ties, or personal relationships. According to him, what matters most is the ability of a leader to deliver meaningful development and create a better future for Nigerians.
Nze noted that he is not campaigning for a particular individual simply because of identity or affiliation, but rather seeking a leader with a clear vision, compassion for the people, and the capacity to provide effective governance.
The actor further stated that decisions made by those in power affect all Nigerians, regardless of their state of origin or cultural differences, as everyone shares in the country’s challenges and achievements.
Reflecting on the candidates currently involved in the political contest, Nze said that from what he has observed so far, Peter Obi appears to align most closely with his expectations of the kind of leadership Nigeria needs.
His words…
“I only want to see a better Nigeria. It doesn’t have to be Peter Obi. I’m not looking for someone from my tribe, but for a candidate who has Nigerians at heart and can move the country forward, not one step forward and ten steps backward. So far, I haven’t seen any better candidate than Peter Obi in this election. The truth is that governance doesn’t affect only one tribe or region, it affects everyone.”
