Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has announced that the church will provide free accommodation for Nigerians returning from South Africa, saying dedicated housing estates have already been set aside for those without homes in Nigeria.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the cleric revealed that another group of Nigerians had recently returned from South Africa and assured them that the church would take care of their immediate shelter needs.

According to him, “I just received the information that more Nigerians have arrived from South Africa. Couples that don’t have any house in Nigeria to come back to are welcomed to a free estate purchased specially for them. The OPM estate is 100% free of charge.”

He further explained that transportation arrangements had been made to pick returnees from the airport and convey them to the church for necessary documentation before relocating them to the estate.

“A free bus has been purchased to pick families from the airport to the estate. Please don’t be angry, you will feed yourself till next week while we conclude arrangements with a new catering service. Everything is fully funded through tithes and offerings from OPM Church,” he added.

The cleric also appealed for patience from the returnees, noting that interim feeding arrangements were still being finalized while a new catering service is put in place.

The initiative comes amid ongoing reports of Nigerians returning from South Africa due to xenophobic tensions, immigration difficulties, and economic challenges, which have forced many to seek safety and stability back home.

The gesture has since generated positive reactions online, with many Nigerians commending the church leader for stepping in to support returning citizens with accommodation and basic welfare assistance.
