A viral video from the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in Abuja has continued to circulate online after Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu representing President Bola Tinubu presented a symbolic gift to the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi.
In the footage, a young male envoy was seen handing over a large ceremonial Bible to the cleric.
During the presentation, the representative explained the meaning behind the gesture, quoting the First Lady’s exact words:
“And the first lady said to me, silver and gold she does not have, but she has the word of God that Papa is preaching to us. The first lady said, Mr President, I should present to Papa.”
He also delivered a message of praise during the event, declaring:
“Today we give immortal praise to the King of Kings, the Lord of Lord, the I am that I am… The shekinah of our glory, our hope, our joy, our resurrection, our yesterday, our today, and our tomorrow, and forever and ever.”
The gathering also recognised former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, who was present at the event. Pastor Kumuyi was further honoured with glowing remarks, being described as “the John Wesley of our generation.”
The representative added that the Tinubu administration holds the cleric in high esteem, noting that both the President and First Lady deeply appreciate his ministry and influence, and that his presence had brought a sense of peace and spiritual upliftment to Abuja and the nation.
