The development follows a petition submitted by legal practitioner Blessing Agbomhere, who called on the anti-graft agency to carry out a comprehensive probe into the financial activities, funding sources, and sponsorship arrangements linked to both public figures.
According to the petition, the request is aimed at uncovering possible irregularities in their financial dealings and determining whether any connections exist that may raise national security concerns. The EFCC is expected to review the allegations and decide on the next line of action.
As of the time of reporting, neither Deji Adeyanju nor VeryDarkMan has issued an official public response to the allegations.
