Mabel Makun, the former wife of comedian Ayo Makun, has spoken out following a period of silence and emotional withdrawal.
In a post shared on her Instagram story after the burial of late actor Alex Ekubo, she reflected on her quiet state, noting that the deceased often encouraged her to keep things to herself and remain silent in certain situations.
She revealed that she has a lot on her mind and many things she would like to express, but she is unsure where to begin, which has contributed to her decision to stay withdrawn.
Concluding her message, she bade the late actor farewell and wished him peaceful rest.
Her words…
“Never to put a question mark where God has put a full stop.
Rest easy, one of the most caring humans ever.
Mama Dee always seeks God’s guidance and take care of yourself, no response needed.
Truth be say, I get response but I no just know where to start from, hence the silence and withdrawal”.

In other news… The Oyo State Government has intensified efforts to enforce its anti-open grazing regulations, with authorities impounding six cows found roaming freely in parts of Ibadan.
According to the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA), the animals were seized during a routine monitoring exercise conducted around Old Ife Road, Alakia, and Elebu Idi Ahun in Ido Local Government Area.
In a statement issued by the Chairperson of the Authority, Aderonke Aderemi, five of the cows were discovered grazing openly in areas where such activities are prohibited under the state’s livestock control laws.
The Authority said the animals were immediately impounded for violating Oyo State’s regulations on open grazing and livestock management.
In a separate operation carried out the same day, enforcement officers responded to reports of cattle roaming along the busy Mokola highway in Ibadan.
Upon arrival, officials reportedly found three cows on the road, creating a potential danger to motorists and residents.
“One cow was immediately impounded while the others fled.”
According to OYRLEA, the enforcement exercise forms part of ongoing efforts to curb open grazing, promote public safety, and prevent incidents capable of disrupting community peace.
The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing livestock management regulations across the state while ensuring environmental order and compliance with existing laws.
