Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has urged Nigerians particularly young people to be patient with the ongoing economic reforms introduced by his father’s administration.
In a video that has since gone viral, he appealed for continued support for the government, saying the reforms are aimed at tackling long-standing structural challenges rather than providing immediate relief.
“We’re asking you all to have faith in Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu. He is already driving this country in a direction this country has never ever seen, and I continue to pray for his life, continue to pray for his second term,” he said.
He called on Nigerian youths to remain hopeful and trust the intentions behind the administration’s policies as they gradually take effect.
Seyi also noted that President Tinubu’s focus is on resolving deep-rooted systemic issues that have slowed Nigeria’s development over the years.
“This is a man who has come in and has seen cracks, instead of just trying to pass by and waiting for the cracks to continue to spread… he’s actually trying to fix it,” he said. “So that way, when it’s our own time, we don’t have to fix a crack. We’ll live in a house that is well built, with a great foundation, with a great legacy, for our own children to also benefit.”
