A disturbing video has emerged showing Mrs. Alamu, the abducted principal kidnapped during a school attack in the Oyo State community of Orrire, pleading for urgent rescue.

In the viral clip circulating on social media, she revealed that she and other victims have spent about 13 days in the bush since they were abducted from Owo, calling on authorities to step in and secure their release.

“About 13 days ago, we were picked from Owo, and till now, we are still in the bush. We are begging President Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde, and every other well-meaning Nigerian to please help us,” she said.

She also appealed to Nigerian youths, the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), and relevant stakeholders to intervene, stressing that the captives are enduring severe hardship.

According to her, the abductors should not be confronted with force, but rather through dialogue and negotiation to ensure a peaceful release.

“We are in the cold, we are under the sun, we are under the rain both the children and the adults. Please, we are begging you in the name of God. This does not call for force at all, just negotiate and dialogue with them,” she added.

The video has triggered widespread outrage online, with Nigerians demanding swift government action and stronger security measures to rescue the victims.

The Oyo school abduction incident continues to draw national attention as families anxiously await updates on the safe return of the kidnapped students and staff.
