Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked fresh reactions after hinting at her desire to have another child despite her ongoing separation from her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Recall that Regina Daniels and Nwoko tied the knot in 2019, a union that generated widespread public debate due to their significant age difference. Despite the backlash, the actress remained unfazed at the time.

The couple shares two sons, but their marriage reportedly ran into crisis in late 2025 after Nwoko accused the actress of struggling with drug and alcohol abuse and allegedly needing rehabilitation.

Regina Daniels, however, denied the claims and accused her estranged husband of manipulation, psychological control, and physical abuse.

During a recent livestream with Nigerian TikTok personality Jarvis, the actress stated that she is no longer interested in marriage.

She also revealed that she still hopes to have more children in the future, adding that she is determined to have a baby girl.

According to her, she prefers a daughter because she believes female children are more likely to care for their parents in old age compared to sons, who may focus more on building their own families.

“I want to have six children and I have two already, two boys. It so crazy but for some reason I have checked my mind out from getting married. But I am going to have a girl and I must have a girl.

“Men will grow, get married, and focus more on building a family. But for women she will always remember home.”
