Temi Ajibade, daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has shared how she and her husband, Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi, discovered they were expecting their first child together.

The celebrity couple, who recently unveiled their pregnancy in a stunning maternity photoshoot, gave deeper insight into their journey into parenthood during an interview with People magazine.

According to Temi, the emotional moment happened while they were on their honeymoon, shortly after their series of elaborate wedding celebrations in 2025. She explained that after their court wedding in Monaco, traditional ceremony in Dubai, and church wedding in Iceland, they deliberately stepped away from the spotlight to focus on private time together.

The couple went on a two-month honeymoon, taking a digital break while traveling across South Korea and Japan. It was during this peaceful getaway that they learned they were expecting their first child.

“We are beyond excited to start our family and welcome a little one to our cocoon of two,” emi said, expressing gratitude and joy as they embraced the beginning of a new chapter.

Instead of announcing the news publicly right away, the couple first shared it privately with close relatives and friends using ultrasound printouts. Temi also recalled celebrating her 30th birthday in Mallorca, where she personally revealed the pregnancy news to many of her closest friends.

She also spoke candidly about her pregnancy experience so far, revealing that her first trimester came with intense exhaustion and persistent morning sickness that lasted throughout the day.

“For the first trimester, I was really feeling the fatigue and morning sickness, well, all day sickness,” she explained.

However, she added that her condition has gradually improved as the pregnancy progresses, and she now feels healthier, stronger, and more energetic.

Temi further noted that pregnancy has changed her usual fast-paced routine, saying it has helped her slow down, reflect more, and live with greater intention.

“I love how pregnancy forces you to slow down,” she said.
