Popular comedian and singer Carter Efe has reacted to the lawsuit reportedly filed against him by content creator Jarvis with a dramatic voice note that has now gone viral online.
The online drama began after reports surfaced that Jarvis had sued Carter Efe over alleged bullying, harassment, defamation, and spreading false claims aimed at damaging her reputation, career, emotional wellbeing, and public image.
According to reports, Jarvis is demanding a public apology, retraction of alleged defamatory statements across all platforms, and a legal undertaking to stop further attacks.
However, in a viral voice note making rounds online, Carter Efe jokingly claimed he was countersuing Jarvis despite allegedly lacking money to hire a lawyer.
According to him:
“I no get money to hire lawyer so I hereby sue Jarvis for the sum of ₦1.8 billion for collecting GLE 350 without love, conscience and protonist. I give her 4 hours to return the car or be jailed for 40 years in prison.”
The statement immediately sparked massive reactions across social media, with many Nigerians debating whether the situation was serious or simply another online content stunt.
Reacting to the saga, @Paulolfc11 warned Carter Efe against taking the matter lightly.
“Him think say na play sha, make he go ask questions oo. Be like dem never sue am before nah why him eye go soon clear.”
Another user, @stubborntailor, defended the comedian.
