The event, held in Abuja, drew a crowd of political stakeholders, party loyalists, and supporters, but it was the singer’s surprise presence that quickly became the centre of attention on social media.
In clips shared online, 2Baba was spotted in a casual outfit featuring blue jeans and an NDC-branded vest. His appearance alongside his wife added a celebrity flair to the political gathering.
At one point during the ceremony, the award-winning artist entertained guests by performing his classic track “One Love,” earning cheers and applause from the audience.
The singer, who recently welcomed his first child with Natasha, appeared relaxed and fully engaged throughout the event as he stood beside her during her formal reception into the party alongside other defectors.
Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, was officially received into the NDC by the party’s National Leader, Seriake Dickson, marking her transition into the new political platform.
