“Pay Others or I’ll Go to Court”- Isaac Fayose Calls Out Arik Air Over Selective Refunds, Threatens Legal Action

  • Isaac Fayose has accused Arik Air of refunding his ₦630,000 ticket while allegedly failing to pay other passengers.
  • He has threatened legal action if the airline does not refund everyone, sparking concerns over fairness and accountability.

Nigerian businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has publicly called out Arik Air over what he described as selective refund practices affecting passengers.

Fayose revealed that the airline recently refunded him ₦630,000 for a disrupted flight, but alleged that many other passengers are yet to receive their refunds.

“Arik Airline refunded my money today 630k….But they are yet to refund other passengers..They have been calling me to beg/apologize but I told them I won’t leave them alone till they pay all the remaining passengers. ARIK pay others or I will go to court,” he said.

According to him, despite receiving multiple apology calls from the airline, he remains committed to pushing for fairness for other affected customers.

His statement has sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians questioning why a public figure would be prioritized while regular passengers are allegedly left waiting.

The situation has reignited conversations around customer service standards in Nigeria’s aviation sector, especially regarding delayed or unprocessed refunds.
