Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has shared a fresh update on the ongoing legal battle involving cryptocurrency entrepreneur BLORD, revealing a key development in his bail process.
According to Sowore, the Nigeria Police Force has withdrawn its earlier counter affidavit, which was initially filed to oppose BLORD’s bail application.
“The Nigeria Police Force has now withdrawn its initial counter affidavit designed to frustrate BLord’s bail. Up next is getting the judge to resume and hear the bail application,” he said via social media.
The withdrawal marks a significant shift in the case, as the earlier filing had been a major obstacle to securing bail for the businessman.
Sowore added that the next stage of the process will involve the court reconvening to hear and determine the bail application.
