Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has stirred online discussions after sharing a strong opinion aimed at men regarding relationships and finances.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, the actor warned men about being in relationships where they are constantly expected to spend money. He wrote:
“If it costs you money every time you see her, that’s prostitutiion, not a relationship.”
He also advised men who are focused on building success and “empire-building” to be very intentional when choosing a partner. According to him, such men should either stay single or go for a supportive woman, whom he described as “a Queen,” rather than someone he referred to as “a clown seeking attention from the entire village.”
His statement quickly went viral and generated mixed reactions on social media, with users divided over his views on love, money, and relationship expectations.
Although Jim Iyke is known for keeping much of his private life away from the public, he previously revealed in 2023 that he had been married twice, both of which ended in separation. He also disclosed that he is a father of three children.
At the time, he explained that his private and strategic personality was the reason details about his marriages and children were not widely known, including their eventual breakdown.
