- Izzy Ogbeide has accused VeryDarkMan of spreading fear among Nigerians by claiming DSS involvement in protests, despite stating he was not participating.

Nigerian social commentator Izzy Ogbeide has criticized VeryDarkMan over a video he shared regarding the Save Democracy protest.
Ogbeide alleged that VeryDarkMan attempted to instill fear in Nigerians by claiming that the Department of State Services (DSS) had contacted him about the protest, despite previously stating that he was not involved.
“VeryDarkMan tried to instill fear in Nigerians yesterday. That’s why he came out claiming the DSS called him about the protest, even though he said he’s not involved.”
The statement comes amid ongoing debates about public demonstrations and social media narratives in Nigeria, with many observers concerned about misinformation or fear-mongering around civic actions.
In other news… Popular social media activist VeryDarkMan has revealed that he has filed a petition with the Nigeria Police Force against relationship coach Blessing CEO over alleged fraud.
In a statement shared online, VeryDarkMan claimed that the petition has already been approved for investigation, accusing Blessing CEO of defrauding both him and members of the public.
“I have filed a petition with the Nigeria Police Force against Blessing CEO, and it has been approved for investigation for allegedly defrauding me of my ₦150 and the public of their hard-earned money.”
The activist explained that the ₦150 in question was money he intended to use for a meal but decided to send to Blessing CEO, a move he now claims was part of what prompted his complaint.
