Nigerian journalist Rufai Oseni has criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his recent visit to Jos following attacks in Plateau State.
Reacting to the development, Rufai questioned the decision of the president to reportedly remain at the airport rather than visit affected communities.
“President Tinubu went to Jos over the recent att@ck but stopped at the airport, what level of insens!tivity is this to the people of this country? Imagine telling vict!ms that he would soon leave the airport because of light. Why didn’t he go to the affected areas?” he said.
He further expressed doubt over the president’s attempt to empathise with victims of the attacks.
“I saw him telling a woman who l0st her son that he understands her pa!n-no, Mr. President, you don’t understand her pa!n, nobody does, even me,” he added.
The remarks come amid ongoing concerns over insecurity in Jos and other parts of the country, where recent attacks have drawn national attention.
Rufai’s comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians supporting his stance while others defended the president’s actions.

The controversy began after a woman identified as Deborah Mbara claimed that Blessing allegedly used and edited her medical document to present it as her own. The allegation was reportedly communicated through legal representatives, who demanded a public explanation.
Speaking during an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze, Blessing insisted that the burden of proof lies with the accuser.
“He who alleges will come out to prove. If you allege that I forged your result, then it’s okay for you to come out and prove it. You know, I just want to be strong. The person who said I forged her result, why isn’t she coming out?” she said.
During the session, the brother of the accuser reportedly joined the live video to confront her, alleging that Blessing had been contacting their lawyers to plead.
Responding, she maintained her stance and expressed readiness to pursue the matter legally.
“If your sister said she sent me her result, and you have all the necessary evidence, please let’s go to court,” she added.
The situation has continued to generate reactions online, as many await further developments regarding the allegations and possible legal action.
